Randomising placements
as a part of a studio project
While working with Gaurav Patekar, I needed to place 150 butterfly modules across a wall while maintaining a set of spatial constraints. Rather than positioning each one manually, I developed a Grasshopper script that generated thousands of valid arrangements from three fixed origins. It transformed a repetitive task into a fast, iterative design tool.
I enjoy using computation wherever I can, to automate repetitive tasks and create room for exploration.
