FOR: Construction workers and other slum dwellers who live in temporary houses

OBSERVATION: Construction workers residing on-site, along with other inhabitants of slums, live in very small suffocating spaces.

PROBLEM STATEMENT: Due to these small areas they are residing in, there is a lack of privacy. The activities that require privacy are:

Indoor Activities:
• Changing clothes, getting dressed
• Breastfeeding women
• Two families living together where they need their privacy
• Sleeping

Outdoor Activities:
• Bathing in the open
• Using the washroom
• Eating food on the construction site where the dust can contaminate the food

HYPOTHESIS:
Developing a viable strategy to address the lack of privacy experienced by construction workers residing on-site, along with other inhabitants of slums, aiming to mitigate the challenges associated with communal living arrangements and daily activities.
